Position: Expanded Duties Dental Assistant (EDDA)
Location: Stephanie Huddleston, DMD - 2716 Old Rosebud Rd Suite 110, Lexington, KY 40509
Schedule: Full Time, Monday - Thursday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Pay Range: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Expanded Duties Dental Assistant (EDDA) with a minimum of 5 years of working experience.

✨What You’ll Do:

You will take over the filling process once Dr. Huddleston preps the tooth and properly complete all necessary steps. 

• 🦷 Infection Control: Sterilize and disinfect instruments, set up trays, and prepare materials.
• 🪥 Composite Restorations: Place and polish anterior and posterior composite restorations.
• 🚨 Emergency Assistance: Help manage medical and dental emergencies.
• 📸 X-Rays & Impressions: Take dental x-rays and digital impressions.
• 📋 Patient Records: Collect and record medical and dental histories.
• 📝 Postoperative Care: Provide postoperative instructions and support.
• 🔬 High-Tech Equipment: Work with lasers, scanners, and other advanced dental equipment.
• 💉 Cosmetic Procedures: Assist with Botox, fillers, and laser procedures.
• 👑 Temporary Crowns/Bridges: Create temporary crowns/bridges.
• 😊 Positive Attitude: Maintain a friendly and positive demeanor at all times.

🌟 Our Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate will be comfortable performing a variety of dental procedures, including isolating, placing, and adjusting fillings. 

• 🔍 Dependable, motivated, and team-oriented.
• 📚 Eager to learn and grow.
• 🎓 Minimum of 5 years of working experience as a dental assistant.
• 🎓 High school diploma/GED & CPR & EDDA certification required
• 📜 Certificates in X-ray and Coronal Polishing preferred but not required
• 🦷 A skills assessment will be required prior to a job offer being made.
