This position will involve some travel, employees will be expected to be flexible for both locations in Louisville, KY.

As our new treatment coordinator you will interact with patients, collaborate with the team, and perform task...

• Explaining financial requirements and obligations to patients and entering payments into the practice management system.
• Providing instructions to patients to ensure that they are prepared for examinations and procedures.
• Courteously receiving incoming telephone calls and taking messages as needed.
• Scheduling, rescheduling, and canceling patient appointments as required.
• Verifying insurance details and informing patients of un-covered fees.
• Scheduling referral appointments and follow-ups.
• Taking photos and X-Rays
• New Patient Exams 

Ideal applicants should be energetic, able to communicate effectively with parents and patients and have some ortho/dental experience.

• Education- High School diploma/GED
  
• X-Ray Certified
• Post high school education is advantageous.
  
• Proven experience working in a dental or medical office.
  
• Working knowledge of dental/medical terminology and insurance plans.
  
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  
• The ability to type and file accurately.
  
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  
• Good telephone etiquette and professionalism.
