A Day In the Life Of

As our EDDA, you'll play a pivotal role in patient care, from placing intricate restorations to shaping them to perfection. You'll be the backbone of the dental office, preparing for treatments, managing records, and assisting our dentists in delivering exceptional care.

 

Your day-to-day will include:

  • Preparing exam rooms and sterilizing instruments.
  • Assisting dentists during various procedures.
  • Taking and processing patient X-rays.
  • Handling lab work and advising patients on oral hygiene.
  • Updating and maintaining accurate dental records.

What You'll Bring To The Table

  • A High School diploma/GED or an EDDA Certificate.
  • Stellar organizational, communication, and computer skills.
  • Experience as a dental assistant, with a thorough knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods.
  • An understanding of health & safety regulations.
  • Skills in regulated non-surgical tasks like coronal polishing are a plus.
  • Additional certifications or training will be highly regarded.
